National Association of State Boards of Education Organization for State Boards of Education. Useful information on legislation, current news, and links to State Boards of Education.
National Association of State Directors of Special Education, Inc. Nonprofit organization of state special education directors that promotes and supports education programs for students with disabilities.
National Information Center for Children and Youth with Disabilities Bilingual (English/Spanish) national information and referral center on disabilities and disability-related issues for families, educators, and other professionals. Good State Resource Sheets. IDEA Training Package available online.
National School Board Association Organization for School Boards. Check out their Special Education page to get a feel for the position of schools on the IDEA.
